Our Academics
Below are the various topics/subjects that S.E.E.D. tutors can cover.
Mathematics
Tutors are able to cover all math ranging from First grade to Eighth grade. This ranges from simple addition and subtraction to Algebra 2 and Trigonometry. All tutors are able to guide students through Pre-calculus and Math Analysis. Some tutors are able to tutor up to BC Calculus (if students need help with BC calculus, please email us directly at seed4learning@gmail.com so that we can pair the student up with a tutor who can teach BC Calculus) .
Science
Tutors are able to cover all science topics from First grade to Eighth grade. This includes: Physical sciences, Life science, Force, Motion, Energy, Matter, and much more. All tutors are able to guide students through Chemistry and Earth Science (High school topics). Some tutors are able to tutor up to Physics C (if students need help with Physics C, please email us directly at seed4learning@gmail.com so that we can pair them up with a tutor who can teach Physics C).
Competition Math
Tutors can aid students in preparations for various math competitions: Mathcounts, Math Olympiad, and the AMC 8/10. Tutors are able to teach competition math strategies how to complete questions faster, more accurately, and more efficiently. Tutors can provide extra practice problems from online and go through them with students during sessions and can answer any questions students may have.
AOS Application Essay & Informal Prep
Tutors who attend the Academy of Science are able to guide students interested in applying to AOS, through the application process and help them prepare for the admissions testing.
TJ Application Essay & Informal Prep
Tutors who attend Thomas Jefferson High School are able to guide students interested in applying to TJ, through the application process, and can help students prepare for the admission testing.
AOS 9th Grade Science and Math
Tutors can help rising 9th graders who will be attending AOS next fall prepare for the rigorous science curriculum they will be faced with in the coming year. Tutors can provide insight in their experiences at AOS so far, and provide guidance in how to use lab notebooks/format lab reports so that the rising class of AOS students will be well prepared for their science course next year.

TJ 9th Grade Science and Math
Tutors can help rising 9th graders who will be attending TJ next fall prepare for the science curriculum they will be faced with in the coming year. Tutors can also provide insight in their experiences at TJ so far, provide information about various science and math curriculums students can take and how to prepare for these courses in the coming year.
